| Being our first and oldest cat, Nelli is without a doubt the queen of our cattery.
She keeps control and order here, including grown up cats and kittens - and other inhabitants :) |

When this lady first arriwed at our home, she was very shy and hid quickly if any guests came over.
I had thought to have her as a "friend pet", with whom I could perhaps go to cat shows occasionally.
Well, things went a little bit further :) |
|
Nelli grew to become very beautiful, strong forest cat female. After some shows I started planning on having another cat.
After careful considaration, I decided to take a try on breeding. This was an excellent decision, as our four beautiful litters prove :)
Nelli's looks resemble to the character of original forest cats. She has thick furry coat summers and winters,
altough for some reason she always grows the longest coat during summers.
She also possesses strong structure, long back and tail, good profile and chin that has improved as she has aged.
Her head forms a nice triangle, ears are well positioned with long tufts.
I had planned to neutered Nelli already during Spring 07, but then decided to see if one more good-match male was found.
This is because she has such a great original forest cat looks and physical character. |
